The Team Lead - Sales Order Processing will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire sales order process for government projects related to solar pumping solutions. This includes ensuring compliance with government procurement policies, optimizing order execution, and leading a team to manage order fulfillment efficiently. The role requires collaboration with government agencies, internal departments, and external vendors to ensure timely execution of contracts and projects.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Order Processing & Execution
- Lead the end-to-end order processing for government sales contracts in solar pumping projects.
- Review and validate sales orders, ensuring alignment with tender requirements and compliance policies.
- Oversee order fulfillment, tracking, and delivery schedules, ensuring timely execution of projects.
Government Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure 100% compliance with government procurement guidelines and public sector regulations.
- Maintain accurate records for tenders, contracts, invoices, and dispatch schedules.
- Support finance teams in invoice processing, payment follow-ups, and audit requirements.
Team Leadership & Performance Monitoring
- Lead and mentor the sales order processing team to achieve efficiency and accuracy in handling government contracts.
- Track and monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance knowledge of government sales order processes.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary liaison between government officials, internal teams (sales, logistics, finance), and external stakeholders.
- Address and resolve any issues related to order processing, contract execution, and deliveries.
- Ensure strong relationship management with government agencies to facilitate smooth execution of contracts.
Process Optimization & Reporting
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance order processing efficiency.
- Prepare regular reports on order status, pending approvals, and key operational metrics.
- Support in implementing SAP improvements for better tracking and execution.
